Formula8 - no saint, just dont want these headers to go away, trying to help those waiting, and trying to help Ron. Unfortunately there isnt enough interest in just the original headers to keep things going. Orders for just the one style trickle in. By adding new styles I am hoping he has a broader customer base to take orders from. More orders can hopefully mean finishing the old orders sooner. Every month that squeaks by just paying the bills does NOT pay to make an old order set.

rontiac - just cleared out the tiny mailbox PY allows. lol

I'd love to have a set of the first gen FB 2" round ports. Just like a lot of folks, money is hard to come by for everything I need...lol.

Couple of questions (other may be interested).

1) Doesn't Ron take paypal? I mean if an order is placed and no delivery by 6 weeks then cancel order and withdraw paypal payment..

2) For new orders, what is average delivery time?

Thnx.

Ron takes paypal like mentioned in other posts ( i paid him 4 weeks ago) so when nothing has been done you after 44 days you can file a claim and get your money back so it's some kind of insurence.

Aron said the delivery time from now on is about 3 to 4 weeks.

oh no silverbird, say it isnt so ! Your car is a favorite of mine...somehow that color really sets it off. I am dying to see Ron get caught up with your order and the others. Every month he just barely skims by is another month he cant afford to make one to catch up. There have been too many months like that Its slowly happening but its been a snails pace. Hope it works out you can keep the car too.

GTOLou - you are correct, paypal will cover it. Present order time is 3.5-4 weeks, though he has been a bit behind with what he is currently doing. The 1st gen bird header jig had to be modified several times as he progressed. These things not only need to be able to hold the whole assemly tight, they also need to be able to release the header afterwards! Found out a couple of times he had to literally cut part of the jig away after to free the spaghetti tubes of the header...so it meant going back to redesign that piece to hold it differently.

This means the normal 10 days to 2 weeks most orders should take are being delayed by the ones he is currently working on. I know Joe's set is on the jig finishing up as I speak.

Understand about not having the cash for everything I want though....right there with you on that.

Ducks Goat - I cant say when you'd get them because again I have nothing to do with the order these are made. But do you want to be on the header list or the refund list? You can PM me or reply here...if you want the headers I will see if I can put you back over there. I think Ron assumes that if someone thinks he is a crook or a liar then they dont want his headers. But I'm not the kind of guy to hold grudges, and maybe he wont....and maybe you wont. Just saying if you want me to try that route for you I will.

Just got an email from Ron last night, headers are boxed and ready to ship,so I just sent payment for shipping which was reasonable considering it is from coast to coast. They should be here mid next week.

Default Cash Reward for Ron's Current Address

I intend to sue Ron Watts and will pay $300 for a valid current address for Mr. Watts. If you wish to give me his current valid address and I verify it is correct I will pay you $300.

If you are owed headers or money and wish to join me let me know. I have a very good attorney on retainer and will entertain the legal costs on my own if you have sufficient proof.

Let me get this correct. your going to incure the cost of a lawyer, and pay somone $300 bucks for his valid adress, over a $600 set of headers? Serioulsy?
Got news for ya, there are no "Damages" so all your going to get is your $600. (minus $300 finders fees and $9500 in attorney fees) I say, go for it.

Don't even go there, WHO TOOK WHO'S MONEY??? How long has he been down? He continued to lie and accept funds knowing he would not be able to deliver as promised. And you consider those to be honest and upright principles? You guys seem to forget and it easy for those who got theirs to sit back point at me and say I am the bad guy. Are you on the waiting list? Did you get lied to and your money taken? If so and you are OK with Ron's terms then good for you, I am not. I don't get it. As I said before, if a parts vendor conducted business like this you all would scream bloody murder.

A simple refund is all it takes to make this go away. Until that or a set of headers shows up (doubtful) I will continue this effort.

Default just got the tracker

FedEx says pkg form Ron is on the way, from start to finish, 8 weeks total, a little longer than expected but even mad dog had a 5 plus week lead time. I hope the old and new orders get filled soon so we can all move on.

can someone explain how this customer gets his in 8 weeks when others on here have been waiting years? both have paid in advance.

shouldn`t the money being paid for new orders be used to fill the old orders first? otherwise how are the old ones going to get theirs?

just trying to understand how this works that`s all, not trying to cause trouble.

You can read the thread, but basically he needs to sell 4 or 5 sets of headers a month to cover his bills, and if he has money left over (from additional sales), he ships a set from the 'old' list. Its far from a perfect system, but it is what it is.

It is as simple as this. Ron has limited resources. If all new revenue went to fulfill the old orders, there would be no new orders, and then no one would receive headers.

At least with this system, old orders are being fulfilled and headers continue to be built.

except from what I`ve read the old customers are not getting theirs and if you follow this logic, they never will.

thanks for explaining it though, I`ll have to decide whether to risk placing an order then.
