Two tenths quicker. Pretty much inline with the difference in dyno numbers.

So, what are the numbers John. Mike shown 1160, right. What were you making before the Cvjuan engine. 1220 HP ?
Any way you want to cut it Mike getting within 50-60 of you with E heads with stock valve locations is quite a accomplishment. To do that with less than half the money into the heads, all the more so. No one will be crazy enough to even try what he did again. They will just pick a better head. The High Port, 2x4 sheet metal effort would have been interesting anyway you look at it. Sure enjoyed you two going back and fourth around here. Kept it interesting. |

Not just Mike ... I've seen you do it on several occasions to others as well.

about the weather being the only contributing factor to a given performance bother me. In Mike's case, since you brought him up... That engine was apart and worked on between the Pontiac race (where is was less than 100%) and the Import vs Domestic race where he went 7.95. There was a lot of work and dedication put in to that particular achievement. Not just weather conditions. So facts...Just facts...Not really. Troll on. I went a .73 on a bias ply slick. I think he went a .90 something on the radial and an .05 on the bias ply slick. That's around a 90-100hp difference. He showed around 1100hp on the track that day. Nothing to complain about.

You must be using the weight that you were at that day ,at his weight I just came up with 1207 hp.

Dont confuse nepolian with facts.... it's a hard pill to swallow that your 80k motor only made 50hp more than a 40k motor..
