I had never been there before. Nice track and everyone there was very talkative. Fastest group of pontiacs I have seen.

Seems grid is a high failure item.
Most good EFI systems like MS3 Pro or Holley that have coil on plug and other ignition options can do everything grid does if not more. Keep in mind you can just run ignition side keep your carb till ready to run fuel side on injection.

Study up guys. Lots of info on YB. And with all capabilities and data logging it just seems dumb to keep hoping MSD gets things right. Sorry they just don't seem to be the company they used to be.
My grid is 3 years old. Maybe I can go 4.5s with a new one? Lol

Sik has a bad a$$looking GTO, love it.
Never cared for L88 style hoods/scoops on Pontiac though. I like a nice modern style forward facing scoop. But some classes dont allow it.

Doubt new adds anything

So, maybe you should check on the other ECM cars and make sure they got them hooked up as well as yours?

Little Jack already needs a new one(maybe)???

Time to maybe make a bit of beer/food money and offer your services?
Anyway you know I've been a fan of your car since I met you at VMP Ram race in 2009.

The new ones are made in China. I ordered another one so I guess we will see if that fixes it.

I don't need Jeff or you to show me how to unplug one box and plug another one in.

How long have they been made in China. I wonder if there are Grids made in the USA or have all been made in China ?
I there a alternative that offers the same features ?

Maybe, but I did send John the money for Snyders Tiger intake with that cash. So I did get a Pontiac race part with the funds. Heads are there right now. He will get to it when he has time. I am in no hurry.
Still have my 25 year old USA made 7-AL2 that has never let me down.

Sorry Jack I just don't trouble shoot that way.

I was a technician for over 30 years... electrical, mechanical. Also an instructor during alot of my technician years. Probably 20-40 hrs a year getting trained on something as well over 30 years. Wore a few different "hats" along the way too.

I was aB52 crew chief before that.
My Interest in cars goes back to at least 1960.
My brother's 65 GTO and mom's 62 Catalina coupe showed up same time in my life. Heavy influence on my interest in Pontiac's.

Jack, do you leave the download cable in the car hooked up to the grid?
