A very knowledgeable member contacted me advising that he has known this car for a while and that it is at least 10k over priced. Saved me a trip.

What about a 75?

All dealer cars are always 10-20% over priced. its normal
You have to bang out a deal , or lettem keep it. There is no other 74-78 combo that looks as good as that Blue 74 the way its dressed. It makes a Bandit car look boring. The only thing missing is a 455 , but its a 12,000 mile time capsule 4spd AC Deluxe Honeycombs. I'd go look at it if you think you like it. |

They are as nice as a 74 with many similarities and more accessible at least for now...a value in comparison but probably not for long.
Have you also considered a fourth Gen...here is one of the last ones: https://www.classiccardeals.com/List...ns-Am-WS6.aspx Not for me but a future investment...

Based on the original subject of this post, a few Pontiacs come to mind, all completely stock (no resto-mods for me, and no Strauss Stores customs, thank you):
'69 T/A '67 Firebird 400 convert '67 Fitchbird (not likely to be found, let alone for the $$ mentioned in the opening post) '64 GTO tri-power convert '57 Bonneville (doubtful for the $$ mentioned in the opening post, but I can dream) '48 Silver Streak convert There are probably a few more in between. I specifically omitted the '56 Safari because, well, I just recently purchased two, which was one more than I really wanted, but they came as a pair of projects, so... I also left out an '82 Firebird (see signature, though she's looking pretty sad these days...some day I get her back in shape) and a '63 GP (also in my backyard, and also looking very sad). Note also that I am not considering appreciation on the investment, but only what I might look to buy if I, say, came into some extra money and the misses and the kids didn't lay claim to any of it first.
