George any time you feel froggy let me know , you havent shown me anything yet. I make more passes in a weekend with my "Tubes" than you make all year.

any time you think you can make the same weight and tire size bring it on

The crank that was in Marty Palbykins engine (406)
was a Ram Air V 400 crank and it was good for 1600
hp. No breakage.

The 366 crank that was in Rodneys engine and now
John W's engine (same engine) made over 2000 hp.

If the crank fails, it fails due to excessive rpm or a weak block (in my opinion).

Dave was no where near 1600 hp much less 2000 hp.

Ray,
OK, you win..........you got me this year. Trust me, you don't want a piece of me. Your Race Car is very fast, your just too heavy and for me to add weight and throw on a set of under sized tires is going in the wrong direction for me. I TRY to step up every year.............not down! Thanks for the OFFER!

As for forge cranks..........WE (Pontiac Racers) need one.......BIG TIME. If your going to be making TONS of HP then a Billet right now is the only way to go. You don't want to be buying someone else hand me downs, you don't know where it's been last!

Ray,
Pretty SPUNKY for a guy that doesn't know what I've done all year (and I'm not going to tell)!

Listen, Buddy any time.........and any place. Heads up is fine (if you want a spot to make the race close that is fine also) but no pro tree, 5 tenths tree! I AM talking about next year, my car is put to bed for the winter.

Kellogg made some forged 455 cranks for the 455 SD
program in 1972.

GREAT news - if indeed it's true.

I wonder what main bearing diameter(s) and strokes it will be available in???
