That original GTO is pretty desirable- maybe over priced for this site but if it’s as nice as described I can see it pulling that $$ in the retail world.

Default for real?

I've been watchng this ad for a while now and I figure that it's either an anomaly, or BS. If someone lives nearby and could verify I would buy this thing in a heartbeat.

Seems fairly priced to me. That car has had a very low quality repaint. I love Verdoro Green, but it's one of the least popular colors to sell. Vinyl top, at, and gold interior doesn't help.

Yep. I'm sure someone will come here and extol the virtues of the mighty 2-speed auto, but when it comes to resale these are bottom of the ladder.

That 69 looks like a factory 2 bbl car. That’s a major strike against the value

What makes you say the 69 is a rust bucket? I say the rust under the vinyl top, but other than that nothing else jumped out except the floors. What am I not seeing?

I agree on a 2bbl motor killing the value but it looks very complete and unmolested.

Actually, in looking more closely at that '69 it looks like the frame has issues, unless I'm wrong. No close up shot, but the one pic of the car on the lift looking forward beside the drivers side exhaust pipe and all the way to the right.

The frame does looks crusty, but I can't tell if there's anything more than surface rust. As with any car, it would need to be inspected in person before handing over the money.
