Oh how the mighty have fallen. Going to get bagels this morning. Hit a patch of sand turning right. Right rear tire started to spin. Shifted into second and then came the boom!!!!

1.1 miles away from the house.. AAA towed me home. Tipped the guy $20.00 for taking care with her.

I might have to call and just have the entire 5 speed sent to the house. Or Englishtown is around the corner. I can get a cheap 4 or 3 speed to get her around until ......

B of it is, the 67 Tempest wagon is completely apart for the 4 speed swap. SO I have to finish that before I can fix my baby..

One of the great things about being a car guy who actually wrenches.... This doesn't really bother me that much.

Truth be told, the Saginaw was kind of on the way out anyway. Popped out of more than 2 gears, ground into 1st and reverse...Just glad it didn't happen last night when I was with my wife () 30 miles away and freezing cold.. I would have been pissed then..
