My understanding from my previous life as a modern mustang gear head is that you don't need a lot of juice to run pumps in their sweet spot. It's when you try pushing the pumps harder that the wiring becomes a critical component. One of the big Terminator mods is a boost-a-pump and FPDM rewire.

Since a 255lph Walbro flows enough fuel at 13 volts and 58psi to cover a bit more than 600hp, having massive wires isn't a huge deal.

I've had my tanks inc GPA 4 system (255 walbro) running for two years with that tiny little wire and I haven't had a single issue.
