Every picture of the subject car 70 interior looks repop to me.
Some of the pics even make the seats look down right crappy , especially the fronts. In the weave sections |

you won’t be able to get better pictures without a third party image host;
the way attachments works did improve several years ago - before that point in time attachments would fail if the image size was too large - now, the system automatically downsizes the image so that it isn’t too big for the forum rules. my last attachment was a zoom in on a very large picture to show the backside of the material.

I must have gotten lucky.
More detail when I click on my attachments than yours and Telly. Took them with this tablet. There might be a happy medium on best resolution to post that the system doesn't compress as much. The setting on this device is 16 : 9 3.7 megapixel Normal quality (not fine or super fine) |

I'm noticing the PY compressor is knocking them down to 75 - 125kb size files as posted. But they still look relatively the same degree definition overall. |

most every camera phone, regardless of pic file type, will switch to HDR when taking a pic, weather is says it does or not. Picture enhancements.
Just went through a lil mess with wiring harness pics. 2 phones changed blue to green. Camera will change or lighten colors to make their product have great "looking" pics. This is why Historical and Modern historical photos are still taken in Black and white and in Digital, they are RAW That said 20 MP pics for a handheld phone is just nuts for viewing on said phone. Compression looses a lot. I have seen a few of the 70 seats with the repop insert, and they look correct aside from a tad bit "shiny" I know they are more durable than originals.

I think there are 2 or 3 manufacturers of 70 c-weave interior.
Legendary said to be best , PUI worst. But evidently even Legendary is a little short if those guys sent their own materials to have Legendary remake covers for the Silver Ram4 Jvert. I'm not hardcore purist down to minute detail on the seats in a car , necessarily. But I don't want them to look "off" by too much margin. Seats in subject car look "not good" to me. Door panels are mostly okay though. They don't grab my eye as much as the seats do. But still a bit off looking. Think I'm too old for the new stuff |

Nobody makes a repop interior that can hold a candle to original

Is SMS considered NOS original or repo ?

I will speak up because I have been to SMS;
With the odd exception, SMS material is always 'old stock'. As I recall being told, on occasion SMS will get material made to fill a hole in he market but (as far as I know) the backbone of their business is on selling old stock material. I believe that they will always disclose if the material you are interested in is original (old stock) or replacement material. I was last there to purchase old stock corduroy material for the '73 Formula that I owned (which by the way is now back in my brother's possession).

The owner of that blue 70 Trans Am with deluxe sandalwood interior that sold for big money recently on Bring a Trailer purchased the sandalwood comfortweave from SMS and sent it to Legendary where they used it to make the seat covers. His interior turned out great.
I don't know how much comfortweave he bought, but he had a bunch of it left over (which he gave to me). It's real comforweave, not the fake stuff. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...r-iii-4-speed/ |

I forgot it brought $171,000
Cool that he had schematic drawings from Legendary about using his supplied C-weave on seats and door panels. Rumor about a Ram4 4spd is being done in that same color combo. Blue with Deluxe Sandalwood WoW |

Probably NORS
Seemed like years ago it was said that Legendary had bought out all SMS comfort weave they had in supply at that time except for Green. So they may have had more produced since then. In certain pics of that Blue car I can make out the croissant looking /sardined pattern. But I don't think I should be able to see the air holes that easy. The ultra light color may be a reason. No matter , the end result is pretty spectacular. |

$ 81,000
Probably not too bad of a price in today's climate and whizzbang on 70 TA 4spd #s cars. The extra set of real wheels and original tires helped the value. One poster commented he inquired about the hood , bumper , and dash bezel , for under 4k How do those numbers break down ? Is a hood $3000 ? Another poster commented that the White 72 that just sold was an Auto converted to 4spd. I missed that detail , anyone know more about that possibility ? |

It had the WM with VIN
VIN had a discrepancy that was investigated and cleared. I don't remember about trans VIN Some of these cars have known conspiracies , but didn't think it was one of them. Seemed like a cheap shot in the wrong spot |
