to be honest... I think the 236/242/114 cam from Butler is still not the biggest cam possible for a street driven 462cui... I'm a little surprised that idle quality is nearly as good as before with the 224/230/110 cam
I guess the next bigger Butler cam would work fine as well for the street: 242/248, .540/.563, 113LS |

Would I need better flowing heads, if I go with a high lift cam?
I have stock E-heads, no porting.... 1.65 rockers would give me more valve lift and the new springs should be fine with a little more... |

coil bind height is 1.150, so I think max valve lift would be 0.60..
the problem is I don't want to remove the heads and I think the pushrods will not clear with 1.65 rockers?! by the way... I think to remember that my heads flow somewhere between 260-270cfm |
