Gonna make a few changed to the wife's car to try and get it solidly in the 10.0-teen range on motor and hopefully not blow anything up on hers or mine along the way!

We accomplished some of these goals a season or 2, with our low buck bracket Pontiacs. But, never even came close on some of the others. We definitely burned lots of gas, racing in 4 states. Made 49 races in '78. TJ & I both won lots of races & had lots of fun. This year my goal is real simple. I just wanna get the car running & get to make a few full passes down the track. Last pass was in 2008. Good luck this season with your bracket program. Hope ya'll meet every goal ! Last edited by ponyakr; 01-14-2019 at 12:30 PM. |

Want to break into the 10's with non ported iron heads, stock intake, and Q jet. Best of 11.02 with that combo. Oh yeah, go rounds and win some bracket races along the way. (Also beat some health issues).

You have already reached a goal for 2020...with non ported heads...that is impressive! Best of luck in the future...

I'm running D ports. My dream is to build a 69 stocker with RAIV heads. I have the heads, just need everything else. LOL.

You're right. 69 probably not as competitive, but a 69 RAIV Trans Am clone stocker would still be awesome.
