Gosh, if there were only some good engine pics of Infinity IV while it still had a Pontiac motor in it.... Somebody has to have some pics of their motor.

I was supposed to have a V in it though I have yet to see a really good clean pic of the motor, only distant and unclear shots with the body up.

somebody has them...... somewhere......

Default My 68 LeMans and 68 Firebird

The LeMans started out as a OHC-6 SPRINT, That gave way to a 389 bored to 400 with 12.5 to 1 pistons RA IV heads, TRW "GO-389 solid lifer cam, 4.88 gears with a 4 speed. This was a street car and was a killer street racer back in 1971 - 1972.. This picture was at Raceway Park Englishtown NJ in 1971. Where it ran s best of 12.01 @ 115 MPH

The Firebird also started out as a Sprint OHC-6. I purchased this car in 1973 and sold it in 2000. In that time frame it had a bunch of combos in it and ran as a stocker ( E/S , E/SA , B/SA) Then a Super Stocker ( SS/IA , SS/FA ) Then into Brackets. The best time for the Firebird was a 10.74 @ 123.11 in Super Stock trim and 10.48 @ 127 in Brackets.

Thumbs up BACK TO THE TOP... SD cars @ POCI!

Love this post and wanted to bring back up.
Here are some pics from this past POCI/GTOAA Convention.
I'm sure most have seen them, but what the hell.
Enjoy!

Thumbs up My personal favorites...

Watching these get unloaded on Tues, was bit hairy, but all ended well.
It was a real treat for me to see them roll off, up & around and onto the upper level.
Awsume sight & Sounds!

Hey Brian,

On the previous page, at the bottom, Keith Seymore posted pics of a Royal cat with a red roof racing.

Well, whoever came up with the idea to paint a red roof on those cars back in the day should be shot. That red roof looks like $h!t on what is otherwise a beautiful car.

On the Royal SD Catalina roof Being red.... I visited the Royal 63 Catalina SD a few years back . It was owned by Bill Knudson. The roof was not red. This is either a different car or the roof has been painted.
