Yeah... I noticed same. It's bondo'd to the quarter panels, too. The taillight panel also looks "wrong"... openings for the tail lights appear to be cut out of a flat panel - lacking the correct contours.

I'm not intimately familiar with the 1st gen F bodies but I was wondering about the lack of a visible seam between the tail panel and the quarters.
