Stupidest line you can add when trying to sell anything, fastest way to turn off potential buyers.
Indeed. It would take at least a few hours to go through all that stuff to establish any kind of real accurate value on it as a collection, so unless you're selling the whole lot really, really cheap, you better damn well let people come over and kick some tires. You aren't sitting on a gold mind there, sport.. it's very likely a trash heap with a couple of tiny gold flakes mixed in that you're really going to have to work for.

I wouldn't even bother looking at any of it, dude made it clear he doesn't want any serious buyers to look at his junkpile.

First clue that this might not be an old guys rusting stash is that there are no weeds growing anywhere and no trees growing up through the cars. He throws somewhat of a curve stating the 40 years since most of his stuff comes and goes at a pretty good clip. While it is a hobby/business for him, he employs several mechanics, body men, and yard people. I've seen about a dozen of his restorations go through Barrett/Jackson, and have been up to his house a few times. I've got friends that have purchased both completed and project cars from him and they have sold him project cars. He has buildings full of parts and almost all his stuff has been cleaned up. Here's his website:

Ah man, that is IT!...lol Brings back memories and I really wouldn't mind having that for old time's sake. Even has the original hubcaps. It' a lot more my style now than it was 38 years ago.

The one I would actually like to have again is my '62 coupe. That '58 was kind of underpowered with the 360. That's a LOT of iron.

That 58 was 5000lbs of trouble !! Forever bending pushrods, and when reverse "went away", that was the end!
Had a 62 4dr htp, and a 64 4hr htp, and I drove the latter to work for awhile and got pretty good gas mileage for a tank, >16 mpg !

Greg, I think the '62 Coupe styling was one of the best Cadillac designs of the 60s. I'll keep an eye out for one.

That's Vermont for ya. Northern NY too. Sad that you find cars laying around like that. Winter salt made a mess of them, and it still does.

Greg, A friend of mine has a 62 Limo that basicly just sits in his garage. No, he won't sell it. I've driven it and it is one sweet Caddy. It was an extra in one of Donny Walberg's movies. He told me but I can't remember what movie it was. This coming Saturday I'll be taking out his 86 Sliver Spur, tho I wish it was the 62 Caddy I'll be driving to the Michael McDonald concert instead. Yep, that Michael McD from the Doobie Brothers.

I'm wondering what vehicle these fit, if there is any interchangeability. Nice original shape.

There should be a part number on the back, send them an email and ask.
