Since you revived this, recently discovered 1973 production records show ONE 1973 A-body was produced with the WU3 and LS2 options. It is unknown what vehicle this was, but Jim Mattison said it was likely and engineering car, perhaps the Grand Am pictured in this thread or the 73 GTO car of the year. Without a VIN he can't look it up, per his deal with GM.
