Sorry for the delay in picking the winners of our contest. To be honest, there were so many great cars and greater stories that got submitted that we had a difficult time choosing. In the end, we narrowed it down to about 18 entries that we felt were deserving and randomly chose our winners.

Here are our two winners:
1050goat from Springfield, OH
SupergasDil from Tulsa, OK

We also chose 2 alternates in case one of the winners above is unable to claim his prize. The alternates are (in this order):
#1 GTO FIREHAWK JOHN from Toronto, Ontario
#2 RobB from Cincinnati, OH

Congratulations to our winners and
Thank You to everyone that played our little contest and took the time to submit your entries.

Along the basic lines of....................... it would be our wedding anniversary as Karen and I got Married on the starting line at the Pontiac nationals. It was a friday test & tune back in the day. Reception and wedding cake for all that were at the Friday deal. Getting a chance to go back there and renew our vows, meet all the friends we have made over the years, sniff, sniff, would make Karen's eyes water. At our age not know how long we have left in this world, sigh, this would be a great gift from PY and make it possible to attend the event with ever increasing cost and trying to make it from Florida to Ohio. Sigh.
Signed....... The aging Pontiac Dude and his everloving and increasingly beautiful Wife Karen.

Change and use what you need.
ROTFLMAO

That's good stuff, Dude.

Don't you guys watch Extreme Makeover. You're "Story" has to make everyone cry.

Actually my story was far from making anyone cry, but I'll let the Pypes guys share my story if they chose to. Thanks for the great gift, Dil Brandow

Gee, if I'd known it would have been based on random drawing, I'd have entered. As I thought it was based on essay, I didn't want to compete against my husband. Bet Karen Keefer would have thrown her own essay into the hat also.

Oh well. I've got one final project to write for Evaluation of Research Literature and then that class is in the bag. Two books to write for work by next week...before Tuesday. We took the new motor to the track yesterday and it did OK, but the piston failed on the clutch - again. So the truck needs fixed too. Back to business.

It wasn't totally random. From a list of 60 entrants, we picked 18 that we really liked. Then we picked the two and two alternates by a random drawing.
