I have seen how bad you burned your junk up with just a fogger. The EPA will have to be called in to assess the damage from twins. They might just make your favorite drag strip a super fund site to clean up all of the molten metal.

My lifter problem seems to be solved. I can change a valve spring in about 5 minutes. Lifter in about 30 minutes. How long does it take for you to change a piston? 6 months??

It isn't an april fools joke either. I should be under 210 by the end of may. If I am lucky, I will have to add some ballest to get to 3050lbs.

Good job John, losing weight and keeping it off isnt easy. Long before my cancer and spine fractures I was 5'10"+ and had balooned up to 215(1997). Took 8 months to get back down to 185. Then I was amazed at how much 30 lbs was slowing me down. Took little to gain weight at that point. Seemed just looking at food would add weight.
Cancer and treatment knocked me down to 110-115 at worst point. Now stabilized at 135-140 5'1". Way better shape than when I met you at Beech Bend a few years back.(spine still bent but I can live with the "battle" damage) Multiple Myeloma a blood cancer that affects bone marrow and the proper regeneration of bone cells. Kind of opposite to osteoporosis, bone cells are added faster than replaced leaving hollow pockets that allow fractures to easily occur. Same cancer Geraldine Ferraro just died from. Rare cancer actually. 1 commonality is chemical exposure. Many with this cancer worked in chemical, petroleum, and maintenance, exposure to oils/solvents/pesticides (agent orange victims too). fwiw many of places I played as a child were feilds near factories. Those factories are long gone but many of those fields are fenced off with hazardous area warnings these days. Add in working with oil/grease and solvents most my life it kind of adds up. Who knows what getting soaked with aircraft hydraulic fluid, jet fuel, and de-icing fluid plus pesticides sprayed around the bases etc. while in the AF contributed, plus everything else later in life. Who's going to win this? Who's the long shot? |
