Not Going.
Its going to be a high of 49*F with 25-30 MPH Winds! Not the best at all for a car show. WHY NOV. 3 FOR THIS SHOW?? Who wants to wear a winter jacket and drive with the heater on to a car show? Don't you think SEPT. or OCT. would be a better and warmer. The pass few years its been the same way with a smaller and smaller turn out each year. Enjoy if your going! |

Way off from prior years, especially when you factor in the additional Buicks and Olds. Sun tried to break out a couple of times, but the steady overcast & wind made it pretty chilly. Saturday's weather and the absence of the usual suspects from North Jersey & New York teamed up to depress attendance.
Prior years drew a large group of guys from Staten Island - hope they are all right in the Sandy aftermath - best wishes to them all.

Poor turnout, probably due to the cold weather and lack of gas availability.
I would say there was about 50 cars there all together. That includes BOP and test n tune. I left before eliminations even started.

Some very nice cars showed up!! I was not to surprised by the lack of racers.......
There was a show & swap on Sunday also. There were more cars racing, but less showing........I was just passing by the track! This show is really a month too late for this area, some years lucky with the weather others not so much. Really no options for postponing this late either. Shout out to those that made it....... |
