Pushrod,

What that Nova run?
Low 8's. Here's the article on the car. This is one of my favorite cars.
"At this writing, Artis holds the PSCA Wild Street record at 8.395 seconds. He aims to drop that into the high-7s with a new combo, a 598-inch motor."

Impressive.

Impressive indeed! Caltracs is one of the changes i will be making this spring. I need to change the rear axles (want to get rid of the stock c-clip axles) so i figured i might aswell narrow the rear and run some larger tires but the changes needed start to add up quickly when going over a 275 width tire (shocks moved, springs moved, minitub, fuel tank narrowing, etc.).

I am also looking for good street traction and the wider the better!

I do love the look of fat ol' tires under a car!

I hate that I've sold my caltracs and leaf springs but the thought of
having adjustable ride height has caught my interest.

The article on page 2 said under "performance" that the car went 8.19/169. I guess he stepped it up somemore. That def. is a bad a$$ car!

I got them off ebay, some guy had bought a load of them and was unloading them for cheap. Many on this site bought some.
