Neat car. The track and wheelbase nearly make a perfect square.

So it says its a solid transaxle. Its probably the fwd drive train, mounted in the rear, like an mr2 or fiero. So we know thats independent with CVs, so when he says solid, he doesnt mean live axle. My guess he means no diff. So a spool is uncommon for most fwd aps, so yep; hes trying to sell a car with a lincoln locker for $40k.

Shawn, my grandfather had one back in the 50s. Yellow 1950 Jeepster. I was probably 4 or 5 years old when he had. It was a blast to go for a ride in it. I can still see it like it was yesterday.

Some of the rustiest cars I've ever seen have been in Florida. Must be the combo of the salt air and high humidity down there. Cars along the coast up here don't do that.

My parents drove down to Miami for vacation in the late 60s. They took their 63 Riv, and he stated that when he came back, the car had light surface rust on the roof, trunk, and hood. Said it seemed to happen overnight.

Some parts of Florida probably need to have cars waxed and oiled weekly. I wonder about Hawaii sometimes - beautiful, but it might be quite hard to keep a classic.

One thing that kills me is when people park their cars in dirt or grass up here. I'm not sure if I'd opt for a garage with a dirt floor over a slab of pavement outside - probably take the slab.

That Goat has the structural integrity of Swiss cheese! I lived in S. FL for 4 years. The climate destroys EVERYTHING...

Don't laugh, with a nice sounding exhaust, low life scum will be plotting to steal that for crack money in the middle of the night. Especially within 100 mile radius of a major city.
