Lil Jack,
This would have been sometime ago. I do not know if they do this anymore, but it was done using "Banking".

I use the Banking also sometimes when the track is junk.

Jack,

You think you would have enough to compete in the NMCA classes? I don't think a billet head is allowed in Extreme Street, but I hear they are considering that change, you think you can compete?

Lil Jack,
Thanks. It is good to know that with all of the computer controls out there now that some of the old school stuff is still used.

XS has to use a cast manifold and a single fogger with a 38 jet max.

I built it to run my local OPS class.

The NMS and Edelbrock controller work well. Knocking some timing out also works well.

Years ago, a guy made 723 on the engine (406 cid) and added 650-700 with 2 stages.

So 1370 HP to 1423 HP (in that area) and he was the top dog with NOS.

1000 HP from the NOS, Wow! A guy better be on his game.

Tom V.

Jack is making over 1000 on the engine and using the same 650-700 with 2 stages would be 1650-1750 HP.

That should drag that old GTO down the track.

Tom -

He doesn't want to drag his old GTO down the track, he wants to "skull drag" his opponents down the track.

This question is not intended to be sarcastic nor facetious- what does 1100 hp plus "look like"?

It looks like a .95 scale of a DRCE pro stock engine. Jack's engine is the closest thing we've seen to a no holds barred Pontiac engine.

Hey Jack, if everything but paint is ready and you still have the car with you I think Paul Major has MIR rented tomorrow. He had a post on YB letting people know. Might get close to 70 tomorrow.

Ok, I stand corrected. Does he want to them to wash his backside too? (one Kiss at a time)

Just a point to think about on this build, as an engine becomes more efficient in a N/A application I have heard that the net effect of adding NOS becomes less. I have no actual data on this, just something I have heard for a long time.
