Good advice. Universal float sensors don't work well in tanks that aren't deep because the arm has to be cut so short.
Also don't use the neoprene sleeve that Tanks Inc. gives you for the pump. It will break down in just a couple of years and spread black particles into the tank and clog the filter sock. Instead I put a piece of submersible hose onto the return tube to before securing the pump with the zip ties.
