14 years ago, burned up 3-4 pack in 700R4 second time in one month a week before Pontiac Nationals.
Rolled seal on same piston. Since wasn't sure why again, dragged an old TH400 out, put in fresh plates and seals, etc. My Chevy bud correct driveshaft. Anyway, got done nite before leaving. Backed out of garage, put on trailer. Break in period was from trailer to inspection, then 2 full days of racing. After getting back, changed filter and fluid. No debris in pan. Been back under work bench for 10 yrs jic
