1971 would be the newer style like what Pontiac had. That’s a 1970 at the latest.

I did a bit of research and could that olds be a 1969 ?
I was blown away by the restoration , the body was lazer straight , paint floorless, stainless trim perfect ,in OZ this would have been a 20 k plus paint job . Sent from my SM-T585 using Tapatalk

More pics on my travels around Thailand.
Came accross this large resto shop just out of Pattaya the other day,the shop had about 15 old ford escorts some were in the resto mode with the boys fabrecating the flared guards. The real classics were the hq monaro coupe and slr torana, owned by an ozzie busness man ,the hq has an LS chev transplant Sent from my SM-T585 using Tapatalk

Those Thai boys can be excellent restorers once they have the right direction. And of course they work for super cheap.
Last year in Sydney, I met a guy who is buying every early 2 door Range Rover he can find. Does some preliminary work in Sydney then ships them to Thailand to a resto shop he seems to have some money invested in. Once restored, he is shipping them to England & Ireland for final sale. His ground base is fairly good to start with as in general cars don't rust or corrode much here as long as the old Rangie hasn't been too close to the beach.

In Thailand to immport complete cars incures a huge tax , car is valued at the higest price that can be found then a tax of somthing like %200 on top of that , BUT , there is loop hole , spare parts and knowing someone in one of the most corrupt offices in
Thailand is the way its done here, the gov.. is onto it a bit as Lamdos and the like have been getting through with just a few pannels removed, but hay this is Thailand (TIT). Who am I to judge. Sent from my SM-T585 using Tapatalk
