Quick Q: for the crossover only, is it ok to use The Right Stuff between the head and the gasket only but nothing on the gasket to crossover side?

A thin film on the top side won't hurt a thing. Just a little added insurance against leaks.

I think I wasn't clear w/my question: it's already installed using only Right Stuff on the head, then gasket, then intake crossover. No Right Stuff in between gasket and intake crossover.

Should I see if that holds or do I need to pull it apart and re-do?
(keeping in mind that I only did this work to fix the o-ring leak which I guess I'd have to re-do, so I'm hoping to just fire it up and test for leaks unless that's stupid.)

If it holds..don't worry about it.

ok. Cross `em if you got `em!

Oh, BTW, regarding the topic of crossovers, I have an extra one in my basement if anyone has a need for it.

Drove it for the first time Thursday. So far the O-ring and valley pan are dry as a bone, as is the intake gasket area at the seam (knock wood). I had the car running in the garage for about 10-15 then drove it for a few miles hard. Hopefully everything will stay leak free when I drive it more this summer. 👍
