Where are you keeping the southern body at?

I would strip her down and start making the change over to the new shell. Then see if you can sell the rusty shell to someone that might want to make a tubed out racer with it.

Tag it and run it up the neighborhood streets . Then park it. When anyone comes asking, crank it up and move it 3 feet. Its not "abandoned" its "awaiting restoration". ; )

JUST FOR CLARIFICATION BOTH CARS HAVE TITLE AND VIN. NO SWITCHING HERE. CARS ARE 350 2BBL NO RARE VIN SWAPS !!

Ratty muscle cars are all the rage right there. The floors and frame rails can be fixed easily enough.

As everyone else has stated, I'd get that thing running, plate and insure it then make sure it's presence is seen and heard.
