I don't have a shot handy but there is one in the Aug. 2013 HPP shootout article with a cast iron intake. I have a painted RPM with logo ground off and a stock water x-over now. Wouldn't fool any of you guys but the Chevy,Ford,Dodge boys are none the wiser.

Those were Shaggy's old Eheads I believe,IIRC those went to Darin (jagtec1).

Not sure if he still has those or not, maybe he'll chime in here.

I saved pics of those heads somewhere on my file drive,I'll see if I can find them later and post them here in this thread.

Hey Tony I was thinking of posting a pic of yours.
You beat me to it, I'll show a pic after the blasting.

Sounds good, GT. Cam, springs, oil pan, valley pan, etc. will be ordered from Dave on Tuesday and will be coming your way. There's a party that wants to buy my original 400, but I told them I won't sell it until my new engine is done, they're starting to get a bit impatient. So I guess I need to get those parts ordered and sent...

Steel putty and/or JB weld. We'll see how it holds up to sand blasting. I didn't work the steel putty sufficiently, but I will probably have to re-do it after the blasting.

All is loaded in the van and going to machine shop in the morning.
I'll be sand blasting tomorrow too.

Those look great!!

I especially like that you picked a casting number that was never used!

If going for the stealth look, why not pick one of the crappier/least desirable head casting numbers to tig onto the aluminum heads.

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I came up with the idea to use 7F8 to hopefully have people confusing them with 7F6 and scratching their heads! lol After I started running a Super Duty block (before the I.A. block was available), I switched to casting 16's to match the block and the SD455 call out letters on the scoop of my '74 Formula.

There are a lot of other guys doing nice work here. I'd like to know what they're doing to disguise the front of the heads. I posted a couple of better shots of our camo E-heads.

Default After Blasting

Heres the pics after I blasted the heads and intake.
They'll need a little touch-up but the texture looks ok.

Thay look good. It would be nice to see an untouched set of heads. Are those E heads or KRE?
