Well, a Cam of lesser Duration(Overlap) than my signature may suit the 3.08:1 gears better. Butt Hay remember the MPG will benefit from a....bigger cam in effect of exhaust gas Reversion taking the space of fuel-air inhale. So the smaller cam (likely) has less MPG. What; did I just say that?
BUT, for the cam I'm showing; either the rear or Converter has to give. I have a bit of both, whereas a 2200 stall & 3.08:1 has neither. So, Is there a Suitable "strong-pull-away, strong-running" cam having great MPG? not likely since the low-end pull-away & Exhaust reversion are at odds. Wonder how the 2802 or Voodoo cam will do on MPG with the 9:1?
