Elvis is still here - it's John that's missing!

Over the years many of us have had occasion to cross paths with genius, and not recognize it at the time, only when we look back with acute vision do we understand, that what we experienced was pure genius! The inhabitants of PY were graced with such genius, and like a comet burning through the sky, he burned bright, fast and left his indelible mark. Now he's gone. A famous Hollywood producer once said "making dramas are easy, just have a dog die in the film and everyone cries. Making a comedy is the difficult endeavor". Edmund Kean also said " dying is easy, comedy is hard". The rarest thing of all is genius mixed with greatness, and this man possessed both. Greatness can be measured by the personal set backs and ridicule that the genius endures in pursuit of his craft, and the individual I write about has endured great measures of both. I for one do not need the prism of time to recognize the greatness of this man! Godspeed my friend from the great white north.
Hurstcollector came and went without a trace like shooting star with rare Pontiac's! The person I talked to was real (Hurstcollector).

Board members (a few) know who this guy is........ someday we will know the rest of the story Could it be all his cars were GT'S?

Default HURSTCOLLECTOR

Well I must admit as some of you on here well know. HURSTCOLLECTOR and I are pretty good friends, I have had the pleasure of knowing HURSTCOLLECTOR for over 37 years always been strait with me. Over the years we have swapped cars back and forth but I was never able to pull the RAM AIR IV BIRD RAG from him he loved that car dearly.

After speaking with his beautiful wife Lori I WAS SADDENED to hear of HURSTCOLLECTORS medical problems since I moved we have not been in contact as much as we were as a matter of fact I had not heard from him in months then a fellow board member contacted me to let me know the RAM IV BIRD RAG was for sale and did I have a shot at it, I was flabbergasted that I did not hear from him about the sale, after talking to Lori she informed me he is in the initial stages of alzthiemers and may have forgot to let me know.

I have since spoke with HURSTCOLLECTOR thanks to a fellow board member on here who was at his house Saturday past and put him on the phone with me. I was heartbroken to hear the pain and suffering he is going through right noe but I was able to finalize the deal on the RAM IV BIRD RAG.

i HOPE EVERYONE ON HERE WILL JOIN WITH ME IN PRAYER FOR HURSTCOLLECTOR AND HIS BELOVED WIFE LORI, I hope he will somehow make a recovery and get back to his life ahead. I know all on this board wish him nothing but good you could not find a nicer guy in the hobby he IS ONE OF ONE.

So HURSTCOLLECTOR MY DEAR FRIEND I NEVER TOLD BUT I HOPE SOMEHOW THIS LITTLE TRIBUTE FINDS YOU WELL, YOU ARE NOW HAVE BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY INSPIRATION IN THE HOBBY I am so glad our paths crossed over 37 years ago and I will do justice to our beloved 69 RAM IV BIRD RAG like you HURSTCOLLECTOR IT IS TRULY ONE OF ONE TAKE CAR MY GOOD FRIEND.

Respectfully
Patrick Joseph Furlong esq.

Default noise you never want to hear

Perhaps your flux capacitor became disoriented from your muffler bearing, causing a bad vibration through the finutin valve. Try tapping it with a metric hammer and see if that helps before you pull the motor.BTW does that ram air iv ragtop bird have matching sheetmetal?
