Okay , ive got the carbs, just need to pick one and get kit from cliff. 17058266 or 17052953
Also had a cam suggested by shop. They mentioned th RAIV cam which I think is a 041. My question is how the stock rods (shot peen & polished) will hold up with that cam? Again, street car with less than 5 strip runs per year. |

Looks like a typo...should be 17059253, Olds carb.
Easy choice really. The 17058266 Pontiac carb would be the one to use on a Pontiac, since it's set up for a Pontiac with correct throttle lever configuration, and hot air choke setup if you decide to use the original choke. The hole for the Pontiac vent will be there in a Pontiac air cleaner.
