I think it is an "XF" stamped block. Are these decent blocks?

Don't want to hi jack this thread but here is my 428. Here is a TRW .040 over domed piston. Here is the block.

Yep...
same as Firebirds. I used crankshaft bolts instead. Same harness and thread length...just not a "pilot bolt" type. Flywheel bolts would most likely work better than flexplate bolts simply due to the added length. Good luck!
