Awesome, Awesome, Awesome car!!!

Man Norwalk is going to be fun this year. With this car, all of the trash talking, all the new parts, and the pressure to be fastest, it is going to be a show.

I can't wait!

He's already stated he's not setting out to set the world on fire with the funny car. Chassis will only cert' to 7.50 if I am correct. It's all about the show with these cars, not ultimate performance. Bodies that look like the street cars they represent with period correct nostalgia paint jobs, long smokey burnouts and dry hops like they did in the old days with performance in the 7's should be satisfying enough to most. If you want to see ultimate performance wrapped in a jelly bean body, go to a NHRA national race.

Too Cool. Got a name for it?
Reincarnation?

Maybe you could tour with the nostalgia funny car guys? Not sure if you meet or exceed their rules.
We will have them here August first.
Dale Pulde was with them. Powers steel has a car, vette or camaro. I believe they also sponsored Dale to get going again. Ron powers?
There is the Back in Black GTO and a few others. Cool group of cars and show.

Those guys all run fuel under VRA rules, have pro-certified chassis', and run in the high 5's to low 6's.

Shame you can't do it the old fashioned way (hand lettering and airbrushing) but if it's a budget thing, I can fully relate and understand.

I am not quite sure how you have equated my statement as saying this particular car is going to be the fastest or even attempt to be. My reference to Norwalk was simply an aggregate look at what is being discussed on the boards in general.

What I was simply referring to was the competition between Kauffman and All Pontiac to be the fastest, the nostalgia cars that are coming out, the talk about the blown cars and who is fastest, the special Tom S heads up race, and all the parts that Kauffman, Edelbrock, and others are bringing to market.

Next time I will certainly try to be more specific and clearer. I completely agree with you politically and am one of your biggest fans, however sometimes you need to chill and not over analyze posts in an attempt to be the "junk yard dog" in charge of post quality control.

My apologies if offended...I thought you were speaking specifically about his funny car, and not Norwalk in general.

Carry on.
