OP, what parts did you use for your front end rebuild kit? Rubber or ? for the body bushings? Your car is looking awesome, what are the specs on that engine, looks sick?

I used HRC poly prothene complete body kit including frame bushings epoxy coated all the frame washers and mounts correct frame bolt kit as far as eng goes Eagle crank and rods TRW 30 over speed pro flat top pistons rings Isky hyd cam roller rockers studded rocker lockers Edlebrock D port performer heads Edlebrock 750cfm carb and performance intake Dougs long tube ceramic headers Magnaflow 2.5 mufflers saving up for Pypes crossover. Centerforce 10.4 clutch aluminum flywheel I rebuilt the M20 using the upgraded front bearing and center support running a 3.23 rear posi gear hoping to get some mileage lol I did everything in house except machine work brakes SBBC 4 wheel disc Vintage air March serp belt system

Hey geeto if that's the brake line it sure looks close I would think about moving it just to be safe but its a little hard to tell from last pic. imo

Yes it is going to reroute it around the frt of the engine still figuring things out had nothing to go by.

NO mystery timing issues started right up no valve noise 60lbs oil pressure need to shim starter but what a beast ..

Wow, that looks good and very encouraging. I'm doing the same on my 68 Firebird. Not quite as far along though. A word of caution about the cylinder blocks - they can't shatter unexpectedly. Ask me how I know. Luckily I wasn't under the car at the time.

Default Done with bricks..

Was worried about the rear ones so anytime I was under it used xtra set of jack stands none shattered and car is on the ground so all is good drive train is in test run last week sweet now onto reassembly having issues with the bake booster hitting valve covers no money for Hydroboost going to a smaller booster see what happens motor is a beast http://youtu.be/qw1T6mZCBx4.

Looks great!! Did you lay the headers in before dropping the motor in or did you drop motor and put the headers in? When I look at mine with the motor in I wonder how headers are supposed to fit in almost like I have to pull it again.

Engine has to be lifted dr sides a bitch I had the body up about 2 feet and they still would not clear had to take them back off Pontiacs and Olds are the worst to do headers on Fact heads a little better but not much.

Default Getting there bod hurts slow and steady wins the race

Had huge setback having to have surgery 4 times over the past six months on my right eye think these doctors sometimes use the poke and hope method still have a stent in my rt eye .Have been doing allot of the small detail stuff complete restoration of dash cluster vintage ac looking for those hard to find parts.I have a picture file but cant access it to download the pics very frustrating I was planning on showing progress .Body is back on the frame drive train in and engine started front of motor done brakes finally done fabricated every hard line in the system shifter and linkage done.Just wish I could find someone close to help with the final assembly if I can figure out how to retrieve my pics I will post them .

Default Made some good progress

Well finally starting to feel better got some good progress in and am determined to get her on the road by xmas know it's close but so am I gotta drive this thing soon before it becomes a permanent fixture.
Refinished the core support and small parts .
Finished exhaust and dumps.
Started wiring today.
Refinished fender wells inside and out look great.
Finished A/C controller vintage air sent wrong bracket was going nuts trying to figure it out.
Finished and beed brakes nice pedal.
Touched up floor pan scratches and installed well plugs.
Started polishing trim.
Finished window molding clips frt and rear glass going in Tuesday.
My biggest fear is screwing up the dash overlay should have made sure it was a peel and stick.
Will post some more pics soon thanks for all the help.

Default Been a while since I posted some pics serious progress last few weeks.

Weather has been great here been getting allot of things finished off the list is dwindleing I actually drove the car around the block lol did have the fenders on and I threw a seat in but no doors got some looks ..

Bead blasted and detailed new fan installed fact fan shroud haden severe duty thermo coupler and aluminum radiator.Cooling issues addressed 195 at idle ac on.
Installed 110 amp 3 wire alt completed wire conversion and tested 65 amps at idle 14.2 volts sweet.
Finished a/c system charged and tested blowing 44 on low speed.
Finished dash and wiring detailed dash tested all electrical components everything works sweet.
Installed 3rd controller for elect dumps hope this one stays working.
Reshot door jambs looks sweet last shop felt like there was sand in the jambs.Install new left lower hinge and replaced all Phillips head and hinge bolts with correct style bolts drilled and easy out broken hinge bolt in jamb .
Finished and tested reverse lamp switch have reverse lamps now ..
Installed refurb speaker in dash and radio radio worked 5 yrs ago but now it comes on no sound meh!
Repaired the front grill mounts sanded and prep for paint.
The only setback was the column scratched it putting dash in pulled it back out wet sanded and reshot the column.
Getting there !
