Chris, is that number for GT-37s or for all Tempest and LeManses?

In '70 they were all Tempest T-37 and GT-37. In '71 they were LeMans T-37 and GT-37. In '72 they were LeMans GT's. I think it could be added to a LeMans Sport also.

only GT-37s. and it's 238, not 268. guess thats what I get for going by memory instead of actually looking at the list first.

Yep, Steve Bothwell's car. original owner too. What I didn't realize until reading the article, his was built in Freemont like mine. So that makes two Freemont build Cardinal red 70.5 GT-37s

for what it's worth I have a limkist green metalic 71 T-37 350/350 car all original I believe and a I believe it has 25k on it. can't verify though. It still has the caps on the idle adjustment screws though FWIW. It's kind of a JY dog right now but all there minus some glass and will be glorious again some day.
any production numbers on the 71 V8 T-37's? |

Only 400 and larger, so using deductive reasoning the 350 info could be determined as long as you don't car about tranny breakdowns.

I have a total of 44,986 T-37's, that's a combo of 6CYL and Sedans
Also have a number of 29,466 2Dr HT T-37's (all motors). And 34,625 Lemans Sport 2Dr's HT's

so is there any way to break that out into 2dr sedans with a 350?

Yes, through deductive reasoning based on the 400 and 455 cars.

Dan Jensen has an accurate breakdown of all Pontiac "A" body cars with the 455 HO in 71-72. I have the numbers somewhere if interested? Let me know...

It would seem that a 1971 T-37 Sedan would be on the rare side. I had never seen a sedan, just hard tops.

A co worker just told me about a 1970-1972 Lemans that may be for sale in my area. I'll see if I can get time to check it out this weekend. He said it may be a parts car.

T-37 Sedans. Not that hard. Lemans sedans doors work well. Quarters, fenders, bumpers, valance panels, trunk lid, hoods, glass except quarter/door, carpets are the same in '71 and only the front header/valance panel is different for '72, for all ht's/sedans. Door skins are the same. Quarters and door skins, rear bumper are same as '70. This is for 2 dr. Of course 4 dr fenders for '71-'72 are the same as 2 dr as well as bumpers, hood and trunk lid. Only windshield will interchange between 2 & 4 dr as far as glass goes except wing windows.
So when looking for parts I always look at all 3 years. Of course not including endura nose cars. Go to the Ultimate GTO web site for several 2 dr sedans in '70-'72 area. Mine is there also. Almost 9000 2 dr sedan T-37's in '71.

71 Gold with saddle interior GT-37 350/3spd with vinyl floor was f/s here in OK forever. I called the other day and its sold pending pickup. I'd say 98% rustfree New Mexico car. Crunched header panel, pass fender, and pass door. Didn't have the cash so there is sat
