Molnar's website says the journals are Nitrided. I don't know whether these two words mean the same thing?
Sounds to me like a great price for a good forged Pontiac crank. Keep an eye on bearing fit as you do the bottom end- .125" is a lot of fillet radius. The CL-77 "narrow" rod bearings just barely clear a .080" radius.

Federal Mogul race bearings should be no problem on the mains. They will clear a .125" radius. Rod bearings, if Federal Mogul the "CH" series should work well for you with the .125" radius. The "C" is for chamfered sides and the "H" is the high performance bearing material. If using aluminum rods, you would want "CHA" bearings. The "A" is for the hole in the bearing to locate the dowel in the cap. The part number for BBC rod journal would be 7200CH or 7200CHA for the aluminum rods. Check the fit, but you should be good to go without any modifications.

Harmonic control and tune up greatly affect how much power and rpm any crank can take. Tune up can upset harmonics greatly so be careful pushing limits.
