That pic I posted probably came from PY, so Bill it may be yours if you posted it at some time.

Dang it!
The last two times I've tried to be really insightful I've screwed it up. I'm going back to bed. K

The past 40+ years I’ve been in the GTO (65-66-67) hobby the 1965 model has always been the #1 pick. Beautiful style!
The ‘65 below looks to have the bullet nose caps. Stance on this car needs adjustment.

My 65 vigil started with a CapriGold Hdtp with Gold interior 3x2 4spd AC. Not a gold guy really, but knew it would look sharp since CapriGold matches up really well with 65 gold interior. They were made for each other. Found a FontaineBlue Hdtp with Parchment interior 3x2 4spd AC and Loaded. Sold ol' Goldie to go with Fontaine car. Fontaine car was stolen. Then found the Black/Black Hdtp , and decided that was destiny. So many great combo potentials in 65. |

its a Tempest / GTO without w/o moldings , instead of LeMans / GTO
Bill , what's going on with this Teal Convertible Is that window sticker something you just found on the internet ? |

Hello BVZ. You are very astute! Yes, that is not the window sticker for the 3x teal car. My buddy from Cali. had that car about 10 years ago, for a while. It mirrored the teal car, EXCEPT for the wire wheels and being a vert, pretty well. I am hoping the present owner will find the build sheet on top of the tank Monday. Teal car is from the east and has the dreaded UNDERCOAT on the bottom.
Still asking for more pics to confirm different assembly parts. Some day, may search out to see if anyone lives close to the car and wants to inspect. Will have to see what happens. got to get all the boxes checked!! |

I still get choked up about the Teal/Teal Hdtp WS M21 3.90 survivor project car that sold on eBay a number of years ago.
It passed through 4 PY members , and don't know where it is now. PY member #4 blew it apart for frame off restore and ran out of steam. Was sold apart , I think on here , so possibly it is with a 5th PY member. |

Damn cool ‘65. It had some significant rust, but fixable. Look, another notched fan on a ‘65 with no power steering.

Its that interior color that does it for me.
And if you have that on the inside, you need it on the outside too. All that car needed was GreenGlass and Deluxe Buckles I'm surprised we haven't seen anyone get a Plum interior made at Legendary for an IrisMist car yet. Wouldn't be factory but it would be wicked. |
