I have a RetroSound Daytona Longbeach 4 that I installed in my '69 GTO earlier this year. I was determined to use the correct Pontiac style knobs and knob bezels with it and succeeded. But the modifications took me a lot of time to figure out how to do. But it looks great and functions perfectly.
I had to fabricate new side radio brackets to make it work. The ones that came with the unit would not. I had to modify both the Pontiac knobs and knob bezels. The bezels had to be fixed and held tight against dash bezel so their holes needed to be made larger and round.. The outer knob holes had to changed from a their D shaft hole to a round hole. I also had to buy a pair of metal inner knob control rings from Retrosound. The ones with the ears in this photo. Here's several more photos showing some more of the details:
