Certainly not. Congrats to you and wishing you the best also. But, a nitro/clutch deal is going to be much quicker when dialed in than an alky converter deal. Also, much more cost and work but, oh, the rewards!...
The more quick cars out there with Pontiac power the better.

I wonder if Mike or Eric sing the old Brook Benton song "It's just a matter of time" in their heads Good luck guys!

I can't wait until some other financial goals are reached ( Pontiac museum project ) and then I can get back at it burning nitro again with my 389 AA/Fueler.

Jack, we're on alcohol. Steve, I agree with most of what you've said but converter technology has come a long ways in the last 5 years.
I don't want to hijack this thread, congrats to the Boss Bird team on an amazing recovery. Good luck, I look forward to seeing it in person.

We have more dues to pay before we run anywhere close to a 5 second quarter mile. Our best to date is a 6.50 at only 206 MPH. Goateus Maximus is light years quicker and faster now and they obviously have a tune-up that is very close. My hats off to their team. Our immediate goal is to stay together and run a 6.499 or better. There is lots left in there, but getting it out without carnage has to be the goal for any of us pushing the limits. A 5 second anything is a lofty goal that experience tells me is way down the road.

It's great to see that THE BOSS BIRD LIVES AGAIN
Love that car, it's beautiful and is one helluva race car.

Congrats on getting this baby together again and like everybody else, we're very relieved that last season's fire wasn't more serious

Here's an interesting article on our tuner; Jerry Newman...written by Bob Frey.
