I will be very interested in the detail for 1978 Y-82's. Have two numbers matching automatic W-72's.

I think John has been in the same boat as everyone else as far as the numbers go. Wouldn't surprise me if they have been already talking about it? John has updated his W72 info over the years as new info developed, so I am guessing this would be treated the same way? I was wrong in trying to pry out some info early, but I am really curious to learn where this info was hiding for so many years. Good Stuff!

Good gravy, I say I never see them & this morning one popped up!! Looks legit with a few things changed out. No clue if the entire drive train is original or what the guy is looking o get out of it.

All I can say is I love my 79 W72........car runs quick and handles like on rails, and ........all original and stock....not bad for a late 70's car.

I'd have loved a W72 in my 78 but missed it by a month. But found one a few years ago I have on a stand if I ever want it like I had wanted it ordered.

The project started as 67-81 and it quickly became apparent that 15 model years was too much to cram into a single book. The book was split up and 67-69 became the primary focus. The 70-81 book is still in process. It'll be a little while longer but I'm confident that it'll be well worth the wait. The information and resources I'm digging up is incredible!

Do you sell your books directly? I didn't do a comprehensive google search, but didn't see any 67-69 book with your name on it when I looked - just the one I linked.
