It was great meeting so many Forum members for the first time.

Wow, everyone's comments are soooo awesome. Thank you! We all know that without the input from all of the forum members here this car would not be where she is today.

We are still traveling, finishing up the trip home, and once there I will upload more pictures and respond to everyone's comments and questions.

Meanwhile....

Judging: Concours Gold
Sponsor's pick Award: Car Art Artist Michael Irvine's pick of the show
Having a completed restoration for the first time in years: PRICELESS

This note goes out to Steve and his crew!

Wow! Stunning restoration Steve! A big high five for all the guys that had anything to do with this car. Also a big congratulations to Greg for bringing it back to its former glory!

Great work, the car looks amazing! I cant get over how different Adriatic blue looks.

That show looks killer. Judging from what I can see in the pics it looks like a lot of high end cars all in one place!

Interesting that the Mopar behind it is practically the same color.

What a great weekend and week it's been. We made it home safely earlier this week from MCACN. Traveling with my parents made the trip just that much better. Yesterday we enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family.

Thanks to everyone that posted here with pictures, comments and compliments. They are truly appreciated.

And thanks again to Steve Schappaugh and Musclecar Memories Restorations for bringing Adrian back from 1 step away from the scrap yard to Concours Gold and ready for some epic burnouts!

Here's some pics and a video of the unveiling:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ywjyg2HPnM

And including PB's previously uploaded video here as well:

Bob Bennett, thanks for the lead on the Pontiac Linen cover. It turned out perfect. My favorite is the glow of the lights through the linen before the reveal!

David Clark, thanks for helping with the unveiling and thanks to your friend Bill for filming the ceremonies.

It was fun to meet the Norwood Ambassadors and discuss the build sheet and PHS.

Phil Boros and Terry Kiessling (Paint Supervisor) signed Adrian's storyboard.

The word earlier should have been spelled silverier. What the hell, it's made up anyway.

I imagine you guys checked out the Silver 69 T/A as well.
The Silver '69 TA prototype was positioned next to us and unveiled before Adrain.

It was terrific fun meeting so many forum members at the show last weekend. Too many even to list, but what I didn't expect is that these characters were the secret judges scrutinizing Adrian.

The tall guy said the shaker, brake rotors, exhaust stack, leaf spring brackets, hood latch and lower chin spoiler bolts were the only truly correct parts on the car.

Boy, that's a motley crew there. Thanks for the pix, the car is unbelievably cool.

One of the most rewarding moments in the show was when Car Art Artist Michael Irvine asked if he could award his Sponsor Pick Award to Adrian.

Knowing and respecting his artwork with pieces like 'Bird Sanctuary' and 'The Goat Farmer' one knows he has a keen eye for art and classic muscle, and I can't help but associate that his eye for beauty, art and muscle was not lost on his pick!

I happen to own #458/800 of his limited signed and numbered copy of 'Bird Sanctuary' so needless to say the award was even the more incredible and exciting.
A few here will know the significance of #458!

Here's Michael Irvine's webstie: http://www.michaelirvine.com/

And here's a few pictures receiving the award and of my homage to 'Adrian' and 'Sister' that resides in my office.

And THE most rewarding part of the show is being able to have enjoyed it with my family. Jim flew in from San Francisco and Mom and Dad drove with Patty and I.
