Why are they giving up on '68-'69 fenders when I have seen NOS ones go for $2400.00? I believe that if they fit, they would sell like crazy! Does the know-how not exist to fix the molds that are presently being used ,as they are close, but not quite there.Same with the hoods, fit fine, but need minor tweaking. Can't be any harder than the f/b units. What gives? Also, '70-72 rear valances w/cutouts in metel, not plastic. Come on! I know that it can be done. ron.

I think we need the 2nd gen TA shaker hoods. Made of metal, not fiberglass. Better quality steel panels is a must for the 2nd gens also. Better quality everything is a must. The prices are ridiculous for the cheap flimsey crap. That's all I can think of right now.

Heater delete kits. Block off plates for the blower motor and firewall holes. Should be an easy project. Many models and years have the same sizes.
A block off plate for the heater control on the 64-65 GTO should be simple also. I don't know if they ever made a factory one to copy. Anybody have one?

I know I'm not the first to request these.
How about vinyl top moldings for a 66/67 GTO.

And how about a new set of Hurst Rims? You would think every GTO owner would make these a must have.

Chris,
Is there any hope for a 67 GTO trunk lid? Every one I see has the seams popped.

Thanks

It's a race car, if it was easy everyone would have one!!!!!

I was told that there is an entire 67 LeMans overseas and they are reproducing the whole car piece by piece. I think you'll see that lid in the next 12-18 months. I agree that it is a badly needed item.

God must be listening!!! I'll stop waisting my time at swap meets now. Put me on any list you may have for new parts for that 67 Trunk lid. Thanks for the response.

the moldings are on the new grills that just became available. We haven't tested to see if they fit original grills yet.

The brains are there. The wallet may not be. That hood is huge! $$$$ and limited volume. I wouldn't expect it in the near future but I don't close the door on anything anymore.

Hey Ccass,

I know somebody probably has already requested this, but what about a 1969 GTO deck lid. The hoods seem to have worked our real well.

Thanks,
Bill

I've been told it's over there being considered.

the hood is the only really hard part to find for these years forcing most of owners to either pay arm and leg for decent parts or to go to fiberglass. If there is some one out there that has tried to repair one with success I would like to hear from themthks for your time

Unless someone already posted this... Rochester 2bbl carb bodies and airhorns for tripower applications. Oh and the end carb throttle blades and throttle bodies (basically the whole carb new).
