I know plenty of cars that front half like a mutha phucka but ain't got chit out the back. Just look at some of the 8.50 index cars that run around here. They are a wolf in sheeps' clothing. Most of those cars are 8 teen----8.20 cars that are turned down. You saying, "I aint sayin what the 60 ft or 1/8th was", is like saying I have a secret, but I'm not telling. If you aren't going to say it, then please keep it to yourself.

We posted Jack's times...don't know why the other camp wouldn't. That is why I asked that "someone in the know" could advise...thanks
... well, i am in the know, and we aint tellin', as we want Jack to race, at this point he doesn't need anymore excuses to back-out, or complain, we just want to see if he can out run the little CV-1 car, that he quite obviously thinks wont out run him ... thats all ...

If the Holmes car in question here is the white car that Jeff Sams used to run for Arnie out of Tucson, I'm pretty sure it was mild steel. It's been around so long, maybe chromoly wasn't invented yet. It was changed and added to and modified many times over the years and the 2800-2900# sounds just about right to me.

Jim
... thank you, and John Holmes wishes he weighed 150lbs ?? ... lol ...

Why is it when we get asked for results you guys turn around and basically say we are lying? Then you turn around and compare a less than all out effort against your best performers. Cars with years of development against a fresh built combo.

Poor results??? Here is an early example. Way back Robin running his PORTED TIGER head combo on pump gas and N2O turned off typically in the 10 flat range 9.97 best. He bolted a set of unported cv1's on and went 9.67 off the trailer on pump gas. (before race shop heads which didnt make any difference ) NA pump gas n2o intended motor.

How is that a poor result? Bill already posted some other examples.

Do you guys pretend it didnt happen or are you accusing someone of lying?

I havent seen one cv1 build with a stated goal of 1000 + HP but we've been close with an N2O combo running without the bottle.
NEITHER Marcella or Goatracers track results matched their NA track numbers both using the same dyno.

We as in we who are for cv1. US as in us who are for cv1.

Do you need to know who "you" is?

Problem???
