Non numbers but correct motor came with it, but not in it. The RA V that was in it when muscle_collector had it was pulled and the car was cast aside. Picture was after it spent a couple months at my friend's body shop where a few things were taken care of, motor is next. Maybe you could decode this for me when you have a few minutes...

Un-Typical
Good Gosh
I can't access my files at the moments, but this Invoice has some things I don't recall seeing before on a First Issue Invoice for Internal or Zone use. It already has an actual Order Number, Full Invoice Number, and Discount already applied/transcribed. Also don't recall seeing a First Issue Invoice with anything like "Factory Delivery - Attention (name) " It gives me the impression that JT Wilson was high enough in the Brass Section he could pull strings to get a new car at the cost of a previously used PMD car. Its not what we typically see on a Company Car or Engineering Car on its First Invoice. The "Factory Delivery" verbage leads me to believe this is Invoice #1 And possibly its only Invoice ... Sold to JT Wilson Can you verify the body build date ? Verify the Invoice Number starts with PNV. ( V is Internal PMD code ) Would that VIN be considered average , or early , or extra early .... for a 69 TA ? Same question for the shipping date, also ? Cool Stuff Question for anyone - Who was JT Wilson in 1969 |

JT Wilson was the manager of car distribution at that time.

05C build date on the tag, Matt says it's #3 out of Norwood.
Invoice reads identical to Kevin Beal's #1 out of Van Nuys Sold at dealer auction almost a year later, invoice #2 & Kevin's #1 & #2. Mine has a PNV#, Kevin's has a PLV# on the 1st invoices - ZNA & PLA on the 2nd.

REALLY Cool Stuff about those 2 TA's
An early car from each plant - both shipped to PMD in Michigan It is odd that your Norwood car has destination charge on Invoice #1 Internal cars don't normally reflect that on Invoice #1 Partly why I thought JT Wilson was a buyer. The VanNuys Cali car doesn't have destination charge. Maybe just a small clerical error on the Norwood Ohio car ... Would guess both cars were used for product evaluations (heavy testing) |

I was thinking more along the lines of Car show or press duty - would expect all of the production testing was done at that point. I wonder if the destination charge was to ship it someplace else. NY Auto show was April 5-13th in 1969 so that one is out.
