Chad Dammen

Those so called STOCK eliminator intakes probably have more hours of work in them than most people have in their whole engine ! You think ?

Here is my solution to give this a rest.

1. Have video of car running the numbers.
2. Have pic of engine bay, closeup of carb, fuel regulators, intake for any evidence of Nitrous plumbing. Trunk, etc.
3. Have video of tech inspector verifying no Nitrous on car.
4. Post said video and pics
5. Then tell Joe Allen and those who don't believe to STFU.

NickV,
He's already put the video of the pass on the board once, but that wasn't good enough. I guess your probably right though it might help. But then again, they would probably say that the people in the video weren't who they say they are!!! It's all a big conspiracy!!! You know what I say...F*#% the nay sayers.

I love this stuff. It just keeps getting better and better. Ok, here it is, its a victor intake stuffed in a rpm manifold so it looks like a rpm manifold, then the cheater solenoids are stuffed inside the victor which is inside the rpm, so youll never find them even if you look really really hard.. What an awesome combination huh. . The weather looks pretty good for SAT, 74 and sunny. I am going to play with the timing a little and I also bought a 2 inch spacer to try.
I will try and post sat. nite or early sunday.
Im hoping that GOATMAN or JOE shows up SAT. so they can say damn he wasnt lying and doesnt have nitrous and does have an rpm intake and the car is actually pretty damn streetable!!!!

Joe,
Come on Joe, don't you think that with enough people backing up his claims he possibly might be telling the truth??? It's time to accept the fact that he can build and tune a motor better that you. Not to say that your incompetent or that you have no experience, but that maybe someone has more skills than you and relies less on math.

quote:
Originally posted by JOE ALLAN:
DAMMEM8 - I find you statement in the above post kind of odd comm'm from you! I went to your home page and i see you have a nice firebird with a high dollar 469" E-Head poncho with nitrous and on the window i see where you are dialed in at 6.56 for the 1/8 mile! Doesn't it make you wonder how badbird68 can 1/8 mile in 6.65 seconds with out the good stuff you have? Also very few STOCK ELIMATOR cars are runn'n high 9's and low 10's .. They have to be at sea-level tracks and have very good weather! ~ NHRA Stock Elimator engines are a sophisticated Drag Racing ONLY engine!

Yea you are right about that picture but what you have to realize is that this picture was takin along time ago when I first put the engine together, at this time I was also only running 104+mph in the 1/8 and my best pass in the 1/4 was a 10.34@130.05 mph. And for your information I have never run the bottle on the car, I tried once but drove right through the torque converter so all these runs are without the bottle and as a matter in fact I do not have the plate on the car anymore but I do still have all the wires there and the feed line from the trunk is still there. Well getting back to where I was going with this is that pic was from my first year with the engine but with figuring out the chassis I have went from 6.50's 6.60's to running low 6.30's in bad air and always at 108+mph and the best of 6.18@110.55 in the 1/8 and 9.75@137.66 in the 1/4 and all without N2O and a race weight of just about 3500#. The biggest change I made with the car was the torgue converter. I still do not feel that my combination is 100% yet I feel the car does have definate 9.6's in it and possably upper 9.5's with a good track and air and all without the bottle. As I have said before 709hp@6200rpm and 640ftlbs@48-5000rpm and 3.89 rear gear with a 29.5"X10.5 slick. I am sure that you will say that the dyno is off but I know it was just calibrated before I got there and for your information the engine on the dyno with the bottle made 843hp and 792ftlbs with a very conservative tune up and a small shot. Now I am sure that you will have a math formula that is saying the I am making 900hp so some crazyness but I can assure you it is not. As I have said before I know what I have picked up with just chassis changes and I have no problem believing BB68 that is car ran 130mph I guess he just got his car optimised before I did...GOOD FOR HIM I am not going to take anything away from him unlike you.

And about the stock eliminator cars I know that they have big dollars into their stuff and I realize that have alot of time into it but I was just usinig it as a comparison, Lance Lines stocker has run the best of 10.0's at well over 131mph with a "stock" intake and weighing 3500-3600lbs(cant remember) and these runs were done at Cordova in the heat and humidity of the summer so I do not think you are correct when you say that they need sea level conditions.

Stock eliminator cars are limited to stock lift cams, 9 inch tires, stock non ported intake, stock non ported heads, stock carbs (mostly Q-jets), stock CR, etc, etc, etc. All this and they still run fast so what is the problem with BB68 at his ET and MPH?? Nothing is wrong!

No porting but you didnt mention acid dipping . Anyways both are outlawed in the stock categories of both IHRA and NHRA. Badbird has nothing else to prove to people simply because he does not need to. Some people just simply cant understand how he can run that fast without outragous compression ratios and aluminum heads but that is their problem

Hi, just got back from cecil county dragway. Got to the track around 12:00, temp. was 75 degrees and it felt hotter than that. I hate to say it for GOATMAN and JOE I did back up my numbers and a little more to go with it.
First run: 75 degrees
1.47 60 ft. 6.598 1'8 103.70 10.361 @ 130.00. moved timing from 30 to 33 degrees total.
Second run: 75 degrees 1.509 60 ft. 6.613 104.84
10.365 @ 130.68
Third run: 67 degrees 1.51 60 ft. 6.626 104.62 10.389 @ 130.15. tried 2 inch spacer
Fourth run: 62 degrees 1.508 60ft 6.613 103.24 10.361 @ 130.59.
Last run aborted due to car out of shape in other lane.
I will have a video tomorrow so a couple of you non belivers will not have anything to say.
All I can say is the RPM intake is one bad dual plane.. Maybe some others will try it and have good luck also.
Went 1 round then the car wouldnt start due to low battery.
Hopefully now we can end this post soon.

Glad you had a good day. Why you insist on posting pics and vids of a car or motor boggles me, as it proves nothing. You can take a pic of the motor in any phase, then put it back another way later, and a video is of the outside of the car, not inside, where a nitrous kit could be.

What you are doing "proves" nothing.

I want to see pics of the inside of the intake and heads, and a cc on the combustion chamber or I'm not buying it. And I don't expect you to do any of that for a nobody like me, so..........

You're wasting your time with all of this.

I'm like heaven, everybody wanna get to me.........

Jealous? Jealous of what? Your car is slower than mine, at the same wieght and I have a stock suspension.

How am I jealous? Because you've had 10 years to get it that fast and I had mine for 25 passes? Jealous because I ask questions?

Nah kid, you better let mommy know you're on the computer again............
