Here's an interesting one, a 72 Lemans GT convertible 3 speed stick in Florida with the endura nose at $60K BIN OBO. Brasilia Gold with a black interior,

People have done this for a long time. The 70-73 nose bolts right onto any 74-81 Trans AM. I'm going to sell the 75 T/A as is and use the 72 nose I have on the 80 T/A turbo I'm going to keep. The 80 is a silver WS6 car with T-tops and a red interior (my favorite). I also have the hood, which is any T/A hood from 70-76. The plan is to bolt the 72 nose on and paint it Lucy blue with 71 stripes, or paint it 1980 maroon with a chicken on the hood. I go back and forth on this, but the car in Lucerne blue would probably be worth more. I realize the T-Tops look odd to those that know it's wrong for the car, but driving it around no one is gonna know, plus the white stripe on the roof should break it up some. I have an extra 400 engine and a M21 4-speed, so it'll be cool when it's done. For those that think a blue car with a red interior would look odd, I'll disagree. The red interior, especially to those that have never owned a red interior car, is very period specific with the cloth seats. Buying a new car you'll pick from tan, black or gray. The red interior and the green interior cars are very unique looking and I love the blue/red combo. I've brought this 70 Judge up before, but the red interior looks awesome IMO.

Seems cheap, but if there were bogus engine stamps on this, that's a big hitter.

68 GTO in St Louis at $12K NR. Looks like the father owned this car for 20+ years and passed away. His son is selling it and doesn't know much about it. It's a 242 car.

Another Gateway car in Atlanta with a reserve with this 68 Firebird convertible. These cars typically start out with a reserve ad, just to see what they bid up to. After it runs a couple of times, then they use a BIN and see if it hits. The longer this goes on the lower the asking price gets. This car looks pretty solid at $1K with a reserve. The green exterior with white interior and top really works on this car. Super sharp.

Those exhaust tips are crude to say the least.

It really hurts to see this. I had a clean 400 version and agree, the color combo was striking. Mine had the light green deluxe interior but no air. Car got a lot of attention even back then, loved cruising in that thing with the top down. Bought it in '78 & smashed it up in '79. Stupid kid...

I put the old man's '51 custom fjord on there a few years ago and the bidding went really high after a huge frenzy...then...sold to some old fart in FLA who did not pay - total waste of time

I had to relist it and of course it didn't go nearly as high the second time around - thx old fart

Anyway, I'm not sure if relisting is the best strategy in my experience...

That's a cool car. How much did you get for it?

Interesting car... 72 Grand Prix Hurst edition in starlight black. Production numbers look to be about 60 for 72. Odd that I really don't like this car in black. It looks great in white. Frame off with a rebuilt 455 HO engine, $48K in Milwaukie.

70 Lemans at $7.6K BIN in Massachusetts. Runs and drives, but it's been sitting for a long time. The car looks like no one has altered it in any way. Interior is pretty nice.
