Original owner photos of my SD455 Formula back in the Fall of 1973 when the owner Enrico Stein brought it to the BMW Octoberfest to rub their noses in it after the local BMW dealer refused to sell him a new BMW 2002 Tii for anything less than full sticker plus added profit. Enrico was 6'8" and his wife was similar height. The are both still around and a hoot to talk to. They sent me a photo of these photos that are still hanging on their wall in a collage.

Great story and image below is true snapshot of wheel "mud flap" aka "stone guards" used back in the day.

Wait! I still have those on a Poncho!

I have seen these before as I'm sure most of you have but every time I see them I just have to laugh about how things/times have changed.

Growing up in an era were seat belts where just there and we never stayed sitting while taking road trips as there was way to much to see.

Try driving around like this today
Excellent reminder of how we lived, and how true.

Here is the Pontiac AA/Fuel Dragster of Turk/Cox/Braswell out of Mesa, Arizona in 1963 or 1964 running at Fontana Drag City, Ca.
This car set many track records and had many wins in its day.

Recently, I have located this car and purchased it for my Pontiac Heaven museum. Restoration has started and will be debuted at next years Pontiac Heaven weekend. A fine addition to the collection. If interested, more pics and info of this car on my site.

Here is the pic that was supposed to be in the above post. Photobucket and more tedious and is taking any fun out of posting pics on message boards.
anyway...

Excellent and congrats on the Rail acquisition Steve. I love those bad boy vintage rails...grew up with them as a kid...

Please feel free to post the direct link for the rail from your website here.
