Got my Red plaque over the weekend. Looks great Matt. Waiting to see what the black one looks like.
Has anyone come up with a way to mount it like a license plate? I want to put it where the front plate would be. I'll

The guy who casts (and paints) these told me that I would have these by Saturday.

ASSuming that the paint passes my QC requirements, I will be packing these up and shipping them out - in the mail early next week.

I was going to mount mine to a regular sized plate with some small stainless bolts, prob one on each side, closer to the ends. I saw someone here did that and added Pontiac caps to cover them but I may leave mine.

Post Now, for what it's worth...

The size of these are based on the 'drag plates' that were used to identify different hot rod and custom clubs in the early days...to that end, these were usually attached by a couple of chains and hung off the bottom of the rear bumper, sometimes 1/4" off the ground.

I have the one for my Bonneville (62 4dr HT) sitting in the armrest pocket in the back seat. I plan to add the one for the GP and Safari to the bottom two holes via chain on the rear license plate.

Default Darksider's plaque.

Am I too late to get one of these plaques?
I am interested if it is not too late. What is the cost for one painted and ready to go?
Thanks.
Mike.
