Well I see your going to start now, how long have you been building your motor for and now your saying you couldn't make VMP if it happen in May, why because money is getting tight on getting your car finish. So if I couldn't get to the track last year because I didn't have the money to up date my car it don't count, it only counts when you or anyone else don't have the money to race or finish their car

From now on, these posts need to start with...

"In a Galaxy far far away"

I'm getting called out by a SBF Mustang on another board that runs 5 teens on 275's while you guys are fighting about pump gas...

"Shut up and Race"...

See David, that is the major difference, few really give a chit about "Pump Gas" engines at the race track. They do pay attention to SBF Mustangs running 5 teens on 275's. Very low 8 second times on 275 tires usually gets most peoples attention.

So what have you got in your lane that will match those times??

Actually Tom if you pay attention. Very few Pontiacs even participate when Heads up events are run at any Pontiac events. Last one At VMP had 3 until I spent Friday night installing a plate systyem and a bottle with plastic wire ties to have pairs in each lane for eliminations. Shame.

How many in the Butler Franitc 4 at Norwalk? And until last year there were no other heads up classes. Just call outs.

Now how does people interested in a Pump gas heads up deal require you to slam those racers trying to get it done?

The Pontiac guys don't have anything for the SBF, not runing low 8's
any way.

It's a shame those words are in the same sentence let alone we have to admit it. We have come a long way in the hobby but i guess not far enough.

As far as you and P-dude go:

Gach: shut up....get your **** together and track ready..... show up at the event and show people that the time slips are for real since there are accusations of phony time slips, people running fiberglass doors and whatever else. If P-dude makes the event then race him and see who wins. Whomever wins......wins. who cares who's whining or saying i lost traction... trans was slipping, 2nd stage never hit, moon wasn't in the right position whatever..... whomever won still won and has the right to say so. If Funds won't allow you to do so then just make that statement and people will have to deal. Really no shame if either of you said so with the way the economy is at this stage of the game and being self employed.
Thread went from is VMP happening to is Gach's car really that fast... is his time slip real or did someone photo shop it....is P-dude using fiberglass parts and saying something else..... is he using nitrous to run the number and saying something different.......Personally who gives a ****....shut up.... agree on a event, back road, side street, track rental date or whatever to meet and settle whatever you feel you need to and race! have to realize no matter how fast you think you are their is always somebody faster.

The best place to be on earth is the burnout box boiling the tires on the way to the Christmas Tree.
Passed up many of chances to spend money on making the car look good to do engine work, trany work, suspension and tires.
Just get out there and race.
Can not stand to not be in there and doing it. You can never get that time back.
