Even being a "little heavy", would you need to hire a driver, Troy?

Scott,

Just take a jig saw and cut out the doors on your 'bird. Presto, 'door car' . It would not be the first funny with working doors. Bruce Larson and Jess Tyree are 2 that come to mind.

Years back guys would put bodies on diggers and run coupe or modified classes. I'm sure the senior guys remember that well.

In the nostalgia classes, they wisely separate the classes by driver location, not if they have doors or not.
Dragsters, funnys and altereds run /together in a 'center steered' class. The door classes require the driver to be on the left side in normal location.

Actually the car comes without a motor. Unless you want a 526BAE motor for an additional cost. Still want to know what that writing on the wall is?

If i buy the car George, do you want the motor? Just think, you would finally be fast! That is if it didn't tear your car in half.

Scott,
If it were a Pontiac engine.............I would take it, I can always use a back up engine. BAE probaby wouldn't tear it in half maybe twist the SNOT out of it!

Don't feel bad George. Maybe your car isn't as fast as our but at least you have driven a car faster than me. Not by much (2 tenths), but faster. Did i mention it was a small block Chevy (412ci) with 23deg heads in a 3250lb car. Well........................... that last part can't make you feel any better!

Gee just think if that small block Cheby you drove would have weighed 800 lbs.less it would have probalby out run your (stuck in the 6.50's) FUNNY car......................wouldn't that be FUNNY!

Damn George........ I thought you said you did well in math! 800lbs would knock 2 seconds off et.? Stuck in the 50's............... you really know how to hurt a guy! However, if the car wieghed 3000lb's (like a certain nova/gto I know of) it would be in the 30's with 100+ less cubes. Still can't find that writing on the wall.

Just wondering if I'm the only one this happens to. Sitting in the staging lanes and as soon as you strap in you have to take a leak. Doesn't matter if you just went.

Nick,
Glad to see you on the Forum. Yes I'm really going to Norwalk. I picked up the rear end housing Moday and the new center section came yesterday. I'll get the axles ordered today. Also since your new here, there's this guy named GTO George, I call him Gorgeous George,,,, anyway he has a 74 Nova, I mean GTO that wishes he was as fast as me. Not that I'm really fast, but he thinks he is. And he wants a piece of my action at Norwalk. So I'm gonna lay the smack down on him.

Are you planning on running a turbo motor in your rail? That would be fast as well as cool.
Would that guy be Bob C. or Frank ??
