Yes, I believe so. The builder of the motor 15 years ago said it was installed 3 degrees advanced, and when I replaced the original cam, I used the same exact cam (Mellings RA IV) used the old cam sprocket and lined it up exactly the same.

Like I said, the car is very strong off the line, even with only a 2200 stall Continental converter and 3.42 gears. It shreds the MT Drag Radials 275/60/15. I have frame connectors and SSM traction bars.

It's 9.25. Using the stock 1971 455 HO round port heads, stock manifold, carb, exhaust manifolds. The motor was bored 30 over.
